At 400 meters, which is just a 4 minute walk away, you will find Juliette's balcony which was made famous through Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliette.

At 250 meters lies the splendid Roman amphitheater l'Arena which is world famous for Opera. It is just a 4 minute walk away.

At 600 meters, a 7 minute walk away, you will find Castelvecchio, the medieval castle which was home to the 'Scala signori di Verona', which is now an important museum and picture gallery.

At 450 meters, a 4 minute walk away, you will find the Arche Scaligere which houses the tombs of some of the most important members from the family 'della Scala'.

At 1km, a brisk 10 minute walk away, you will find the Roman Theater which dates back to the first century B.C. which also happens to be another location that houses many important summer events.

Our location is also particularly interesting because of the proximity of the Fiera Verona which houses some of the most important exhibitions in the world. It is located about 3.5km from Residenza Borsari and is a mere 10 minute car or bus ride away!

Lake Garda, with its beautiful landscapes, and Gardaland, the largest theme park in Italy, are just 25km away and may be reached my car or bus in about 35 minutes.

For a more relaxing excursion there is the Parco Giardino Sigurtà, an enchanting ecological oasis that extends over 600,000 sq meters which is located at Valeggio sul Mincio (Verona) and has been lovingly cared for since 1941 by the Count Sigurta who wished to create a magical place that is now ranked as one of the top 5 gardens in the world. The park is around 25km away and is easily reached by car in about 35 minutes.

And for lovers of history and good wine, the area of Soave offers the opportunity to taste and purchase directly from its antique cellars the famous white wine that is named after the region, while allowing you to visit the castle that overlooks the medieval village that took in Dante Alighieri, the Florentine poet, while in exile. Soave is around 25 km away and can be reached by motorway within 15 minutes. There is also bus connection from the Porta Nuova railway station with a journey time of 45 minutes.

HOW TO GET TO VERONA:

Highway » Verona is easily reached from the A4 Milano-Venezia (Exit City Center: Verona Sud) or from the A22 Brennero/ Modena highway (direction Venezia/ Verona Sud and exiting: Verona Sud).

Train » The main train station is that of Verona Porta Nuova where you will find both taxi and bus services at the exit.

Airport » The international airport "Vallerio Catullo" of Verona Villafranca is located about 10km from the city's downtown area. Shuttle and bus services are available every 20 minutes from the Train station Porta Nuova. Bus and taxi services are available upon exiting the train station.
